About PremiumFreelancers
PremiumFreelancers is a marketplace where people who need work done hire the people who do it. Web and mobile development, design, writing and translation, video, digital marketing, SEO, music and audio, photography, data and admin support, business consulting and AI work, you either buy a fixed-price service from a freelancer's menu, or post your own job and take proposals.
Browsing is free and open to everyone. You only need an account to message someone, place an order, post a job or sell.
How an order works
- You choose. Compare gigs, read profiles and reviews, and message the freelancer with questions before you commit to anything.
- You pay into escrow. Your money goes to us, not to the freelancer. They can see the order is funded, which is what tells them it's safe to start, but they cannot withdraw any of it.
- The work is delivered. Not right? Request a revision. Every package includes them.
- You approve, and only then are they paid. If it was never delivered, or it isn't what was agreed, you open a dispute instead and our team reviews the order thread.
What we do about trust
A marketplace is only worth using if you can send money to a stranger and sleep at night. So:
- Escrow is not optional. It applies to every order placed on the platform, with no opt-out and no "just pay me directly" path.
- Real accounts. Selling and ordering both require a registered, email-verified account. Profiles carry a visible history, orders completed, reviews, and how long they've been here.
- New sellers are labelled as new, not padded with fake ratings. A freelancer with no reviews is shown as new, because that is the truth and you deserve to know it.
- Gigs are reviewed before they go live, which is what keeps the catalogue free of junk.
- Reports are read by people. Anyone asking you to pay off-platform is breaking the one rule that matters most here, report them and we'll act.
The one rule worth memorising: never pay outside PremiumFreelancers. Bank transfers, gift cards and payment links sent in chat carry no escrow and no dispute cover. It is the single most common way people get defrauded, on every marketplace that has ever existed.
Payments & payouts
Buyers can pay by card (including international USD cards) via Flutterwave, or in cryptocurrency. Freelancers are paid into a platform wallet on approval, and withdraw to a bank account or in crypto. The platform commission and withdrawal minimum are both shown on the wallet screen before you confirm anything.
Beyond the marketplace
There's also a Community hub for posts, groups and chat, a Games arcade with quick daily challenges, and an Apps section of tools and mini-apps published by our team.
